Candace was born on March 16, 1981, in Louisville, Kentucky; grew up in Phoenix, Arizona; then spent the remainder of her life in Waco. Candace was a sensitive, caring person who adored her son and eight nieces and nephews, made friends quickly, and delighted all who knew her with her witty sense of humor, her infectious laughter, and her compassionate spirit. She was an excellent listener, and many of her friends turned to her when they needed a word of encouragement or a shoulder to cry on. She loved spending hot summer afternoons by the pool with her family, listening to her favorite tunes, or curling up on the couch under a quilt watching a good movie.
Candace is survived by her son Carter Adams and his father Billy Faraj of Phoenix; mother Shelly and her husband Doug Claybrook of Waco; father Raymond Adams of Phoenix; sister Charis and brother-in-law Bert Echterling of Robinson; sister Courtney and brother-in-law Bo Faulkner of Robinson; brother Coleman and sister-in-law Regina Adams of Robinson; nephews Michael, Brennon, Corbin, and niece Grace Echterling; nieces Olivia and Evelyn Faulkner; and nephew Liam Adams.
The family requests donations in Candace’s name to be sent to the Peterson Regional Health Center in Kerrville, Texas.
