Clayton Bruce Harris, 86, of Waco passed away Friday, April 29, 2016. Graveside services will be at 10 am, Monday, May 2, at Crawford Cemetery with Pastor David Cozart officiating. The family will receive visitors 4-6 pm, Sunday, May 1 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco.
Bruce was born December 24, 1929 to Gilbert and Mae Belle Harris in Waco. He married Sarah Walters on September 9, 1950. Bruce was a veteran of the United States Navy, worked at General Tire for 30+ years before retirement, and a lifelong resident of the Waco area.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Sarah; children, Mickie Parker and husband, Van; David Harris and wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Clay and Chris Gregg, Josh and Laurie Harris; along with four great-grandchildren.
