Brenda Crye

Brenda Crye, 76, went to her new home in Heaven, Monday August 14, 2017 after a nine year battle with cancer. Services will be held 10am Saturday, August 19, 2017 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 800 N. New Road, Waco, with Pastor Paul Krupicka officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 pm Friday August 18 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Daylon; son, Daron and wife Fonda; son, Brad and wife Shelley; grandchildren, Austin, Chelsey, Calley, Cassidey, Tyler and wife Emma; mother, Elsie Pietzsch and the late Robert Pietzsch; sister, Diane and husband Bill Jones; brother Robert Pietzsch and wife Colette; sister- in-law, Jan Eaves; brother-in-law, Ronnie Crye as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A special thanks to Shelley , Diane, Jan, Connie, Alisha, the Hospice Team, John Brinkley, Dr. Singh, and Debbie and Erin at the McClinton Cancer Center.
Pallbearers will be Doyle Lawless, Gene Leushner, Durwood Williams, Lee Wachtendorf, Bobby Chapman, and Bill Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorials to St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
