Brandi Lynn Park, 21, of Eddy, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 in Waco. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 19 at Bruceville-Eddy United Methodist Church, 404 W. 3rd St., Eddy, with Pastor Robyn Ford officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Eddy Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 18 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N Robinson Dr., Waco.
Brandi was born January 20, 2000 in Waco, Texas. She was known to many as Sunshine or Brat. She attended school in Bruceville-Eddy, involving herself in numerous groups and activities. She was part of HOT Soccer, Girl Scout member, Let’s Dance, Square Dancing with her Poppy, Golden Girls, Beta Club, FFA, Golf, One-Act Play, Student Council, UIL, Yearbook, Leo Club, National Honor Society, and obtained dual college credits at MCC, and was on Homecoming Court as a freshman. Brandi recently went on a medical mission trip to Guatemala. She was a senior at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, majoring in Pre-Med, with a Minor in Chemistry. She was a part of Tri Kappa Gamma, while attending Abilene Christian University. Brandi was a Christ follower as a member of Bruceville-Eddy United Methodist Church in Eddy, as well as attending Cornerstone Church in Stephenville. She was part of the Warrior Women’s Fellowship at Cornerstone, as well as, Texans for Christ at Tarleton. She was a member of the American Sign Language Club at Tarleton. Brandi was the Assistant Director at Treehouse After School Program in Stephenville, TX and loved working with the kids. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Helen Park.
Brandi is survived by her parents, Paul and Lisa McDaniel of Eddy, TX; grandparents, Bob and Mickey Park of Waco, TX; uncles, Robert and wife Lela Park of Fredericksburg, VA; Gary and wife Becky Park of Eddy, TX; Charles and wife Brenda McDaniel of Groesbeck, TX; David and wife Valerie McDaniel of Waco, TX; aunts Julie Provencal of Groesbeck, TX and Barbara Jeffery of Groesbeck, TX; along with beloved great aunts; many loving cousins and friends; godmother, Judy Sutterfield and husband Ernest of Rockport, TX.
