Boyd Daniel Merritt, 51, of Waco passed away Thursday December 26, 2013 in a local hospital. Graveside services will be 2 pm Monday, December 30, at China Spring Cemetery with Pastors Steve Oates and Derek Cowan officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Sunday at Pecan Grove Sunday Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr.
Boyd was preceded in death by his father Daniel O. Merritt and sister Shelley Merritt. Boyd was a member of Grace Family Church in Hewitt.
Mr. Merritt is survived by sons D.J. and Cory Merritt; daughters Kindra Booker and husband David, Malaney Shrum; mother Lois Merritt; brother Marty Merritt; sister Lisa Powell; grandchildren Colton and Addison.
