Bobby Morris Sullivan, Sr., 80, of Robinson, TX, passed away Saturday, December 09, 2017. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, Dec. 11, at First Baptist Church of Robinson, 104 E. Stegall, Robinson, TX, with Pastors Brooks Kimmey and David Tenberg officiating. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 6 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Bob was born on October 25, 1937 to Grady Morris and Vally Mae Sullivan in Gatesville, TX. He attended Waco Tech High School. Bob was in the National Guard from 1953 until 1960. He served in K Company in the 36th Division of the 143rd Infantry. He went to work for the Cotton Belt Railroad in August 1960 and retired in January 1998. He was a member of Fidelis Masonic Lodge 1167 and Karem Shrine. Bob loved his church where he was a deacon and served on the Building and Maintenance Committee for several years. He loved to play golf, bowl, sing, play guitar, and do wood working projects. He married Barbara L. Jones on May 21, 1978.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Ann Sullivan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years; brother, Robby Sullivan; daughter, Kathy Mariotti and husband Les of Granbury; son, Bobby Sullivan Jr. and wife Diane of Allen; grandsons, Brandon Phenix and wife Nicky; Clark Phenix and girlfriend, Shannon; Kevin Sullivan and wife Heather; Kyle Sullivan and wife Heather; great-grandchildren Aidan, Elizabeth and Ashton; nephew Darren Sullivan; niece Kristy Kyle; along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.
