Bobby Gene Rutherford, 77, formerly of the Temple/Belton area, passed away January 27, 2015 in Overton, TX.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 29, at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco.
Mr. Rutherford was born in Rockport, TX to parents Ernest and Tempie Rutherford. He served his country in the United States Navy and after returning to the US from Guam he and his family resided in the Belton area. Mr. Rutherford was in law enforcement for many years, and in his later years, was a private investigator in east Texas.
