Services will be 11am Monday February 6, at First Baptist Church of Golinda, 7140 Golinda Dr., Lorena, with Brother Morgan Woodard officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church one hour prior to the service starting. Following the service, Mrs. Gaston will be taken to Prague, Oklahoma (her childhood home) to be laid to rest next to her husband, Donald W. Gaston.
Bobbie was born February 13, 1936 in Sparks, Oklahoma, to Zack and Alice Fennel. She is the youngest of eleven children (five brothers and five sisters). Bobbie married Donald, “Don”, Gaston June 26, 1955. As she and Don moved all around the south for his job, Bobbie spent her time raising their three children and becoming an avid bowler. She loved to read and watch the Hallmark Channel. She also adored her little Yorkies. Bobbie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, parents; brothers, Richard, Chet, Howard, Kenneth, and Zack Fennel; sisters, Freda Owensby, Dodie Walenta, and Dorothy Harden.
She is survived by her children, Teri Gaston of Hugo, Oklahoma, Gary Gaston and wife Robin of Dickinson, Texas, and Donna Manitzas of Crawford, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Doris Smith of Prague, Oklahoma, and Mary Bigham and husband Bill of Edmond, Oklahoma as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
