Bobbie Jean Bessette, 46 of Burkburnett, Texas went to heaven on Monday, September 18th, 2023. She was born March 17th, 1977, at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco, Texas. Bobbie graduated from Connally High School in 1996. She also received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from UMASS Global.
Bobbie laughed all the time and always had a beautiful smile on her face. She was an artist and made many paintings. She loved Disney movies. Her favorite movie was Charlotte’s Webb, probably hence the reason she collected little pigs, lol. Her favorite food was Mexican, it’s what we grew up with.
Bobbie is an amazing mother. She always took care of Alissa, Lacie, & Tristan making dinner, attending school events, and supporting them in every way. She enjoyed continuing her education. Bobbie was working at the library on the base when she received the Award for Excellence from the base commander. She also received Civilian employee of the year.
There are no words to explain the heartache we all feel. Not having her by our side. We know she will be our guardian angel watching over us from above. She will be smiling down as her daughters finish school, get married, have kids, or any of the many accomplishments they will have in their future. Tristan is her little man and she adored him. She will be watching over him as he grows into a man. We just have to remember she will be in our hearts watching over us all. She will be missed every day.
Bobbie will always be remembered with a beautiful smile on her face.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her stepmother, Gina Bond.
She is survived by her daughters-Alissa Swanner & Lacie Bessette; Son-Tristan Bessette; Husband-Gabriel Bessette; Father-Robert Songer; Mother-Betty Simmons; Sister-Brandie Vasquez; nieces, Brinna Martinez, and Haley Vasquez; nephew, Logan Sanchez; along with many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations for Bobbie’s 3 beautiful kids will be greatly appreciated at https://gofund.me/ce79e60f. Her sister, Brandie, has set up a savings account to continue school or any needs they might have in the future. Thank you for all your support and prayers.
