Bob Jensen

Bob Jensen, 77, of Waco, TX, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, June 23, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, with Pastor David Cozart officiating. Burial will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX. The family will receive visitors from 5-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, at the funeral home.
Bob was born December 12, 1944 in, Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Louis and Elsie (Graf) Jensen. He served his county in the Vietnam War, earning a Bronze Star Medal. He was very proud of his service to his country. Bob worked in construction most of his life. He enjoyed wood working and tending bar at the Brass Rail in Waco. He retired from construction in 2007.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy Jensen; and step-sister, Marilyn Carlson.
He is survived by his wife, LaJuan Jensen, son, ConnLe Jensen and wife Lori; daughter, Tamara Kays and husband Paul; brother, Tim Carlson and wife Gennie; sister, Carol Panos and husband Ted; two step-sisters, Naomi Hailsip and Cynthia Youngberg; along with five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
