Billy Ray Ramsey, 65, of Waco, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015. A Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, with Bro. Roy Marshall officiating.
Billy was born May 31, 1949, in Waco, to L.C. and Billie Jean Ramsey. He graduated from Richfield High School in 1968 and from Baylor in 1992 with a degree in marketing and international business. Billy worked in sales his entire life. He loved talking to people and never met a stranger.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, L.C. Ramsey, and Billie Jean Eaton; and granddaughter, Lyla Grace Ehlers.
Billy is survived by his daughters, Dr. Christina Morris and husband Bret, and Carol Ehlers and husband Johnny; sister, Cathy Piech; brother Douglas Ramsey; sister Jennifer Burleson; grandchildren, Natalie, Max, and Elizabeth Morris; Mason Ramsey and Kendall Ehlers; and his aunt Barbara Marie Kellum. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and aunts.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Billy’s name to: American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.
