Beverly Ann Dayhoff Taylor, 71, of Robinson, passed away July 5, 2013, following a three year battle with melanoma. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday, at Mooreville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lloyd "Bubba" Strickland and Maurice Easter officiating. Burial will follow at Mooreville Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive.
Born in Waco on October 8, 1941, Beverly attended University High School and graduated from Waco Beauty School. The family lived many years in the Corsicana area where she coached her girls in softball and worked at Collin Street Bakery. She worked at several careers, including the Subway in Eddy, before her retirement. On October 22, 1960 she married Charles Eugene Taylor in Waco, at the home of the groom. They celebrated 52 years together. Beverly attended the Bruceville Community Church.
Beverly is preceded in death by her Daddy, James G. Dayhoff; and her brother, James "Jimmy" G. Dayhoff Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Charles, of Waco; mother, Mary Lou Dayhoff of Waco; daughters, Linda Bryant and husband, Roger, of Mildred, Judy Lynch of Robinson, and Suzanne Joiner and husband, Clint, of Moody; sons, Jimmy Taylor of Lorena, and Scott Taylor and wife, Kimberly, of Robinson; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Terry Dayhoff and wife, Debbie, of Arizona, and Ronnie Murray and wife of Odessa; sisters-in-law, Barbara Darby and Mary Elkins of Waco, Donna Latham of Farmersville and Jean Yarger of Clearfield, Pa.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and many close friends.
Pallbearers will be Chase Bryant, Charlie Bryant Randy Lynch, Braxton Lynch, Cody Joiner Shawn Underberg, Seth Taylor, Tommy Riles Samuel Jordan, and Dillon Simons
Honorary Pallbearers will be Hunter Joiner and Montana Taylor.
