Betty Westbrook

May 7, 1937 — November 25, 2015

On November 25, 2015, Betty Muncy Westbrook passed away. Visitation will be at Pecan Grove Funeral Home on Sunday, November 29 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the Lorena Cemetery on Monday, November 30 at 10:30 a.m. Services will be conducted by Minister Ernest Albrecht of the West Church of Christ, where she was a member.

Betty was born on May 7, 1937 in Penelope, Texas to her parents Herbert and Loretta Muncy, both of whom have preceded her in death. On December 8, 1962, she married the love of her life, Charles Winston Westbrook, in Robinson and enjoyed nearly 53 years of marriage.

She is survived not only by her loving husband, but also her daughter, Ann Westbrook, and grandson, Matthew Koby Charles Westbrook. Betty was a life-long member of the Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother and HeyHey to her family. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and gardening.

She worked for Texas A&M University for 20 years before retiring in 1993. Betty not only leaves behind her family, but also numerous friends that meant so much to her over the years.

Although she will be missed by those who love her, she will live on in our hearts until we meet again in Heaven.
