Barbara Johnson

Barbara Johnson 71, of Waco, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Monday, August 10, 2015. The family will receive visitors starting at 5 P.M. Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. A memorial service will begin immediately following the visitation at 6 pm, with Pastor Shea Gutierrez officiating.

Barbara was born, March 15, 1944, in Waco TX, to Samuel and Robbie Reese. She was a lifelong resident of Waco and worked many years at Olan Mills, where she retired. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Young; brother, R.L. Reese and sister, Margaret Schoonover.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Owens and husband, Danny; Son, Sammy Young; grandchildren, Christopher Machalicek, Shelby Hudson, Katie Owens and Emilie Owens; brother, Windle Reese and several nieces and nephews.
