Barbara Harrison

Barbara Ann Harrison, 77, of Robinson, passed away May 1, 2015. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 4 at 10 am at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. with Pastor David Cozart officiating. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 5 – 7 pm Sunday, May 3 at the funeral home.
Barbara was born in Waco, November 19, 1937, to Robert and Aline Higgins. On April 15, 1987, she married the love of her life, Jerry Bob Harrison. Together they ran the family business, Mack’s Camper Sales, for nearly 27 years, until his passing last year. They enjoyed traveling and spending time with family, especially their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbara was so excited knowing she was going to have another great-grandchild this year.
She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Jerry, and infant son, David Wilson Roach II.
Barbara is survived by 2 daughters, René Coker Prikryl and husband Gary; and Michelle Henson and husband Jack; one son, David Roach; grandchildren, Chad Coker, Mark Coker, Ryan Coker and fiancé, Cathleen Longoria; Amy Moegelin and husband, Chad; Deena Pino and husband David, Christen Pena and husband, Greg, John Roach and wife, Megan; great-grandchildren, Caden Coker, Cade and Drew Moegelin, and Lyllia, Aiden and Kayli Roach; two sisters, Shelia Lednicky and Sherry Farney; and one brother, Bobby Higgins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations in Barbara’s memory be made to the Karen Shrine, 400 Karem Circle, Waco, TX 76712. We would like to thank St. Catherine’s Center, Providence Hospice and a very special thanks to Dr. Timothy Martindale for the loving and compassionate care given to our family.
