Arthur Gafner

Arthur Nelson Gafner, 84, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 after a tragic accident. A Memorial Service will be held 3 P.M., Saturday, May 2, 2015, at the Waco Seventh Day Adventist Church, 800 W. Hwy 6, Waco, Texas 76712.
Arthur Nelson Gafner was born November 20, 1930 to Oscar and Esther Gafner in Waco, TX. He attended Southwestern Adventist University where he met his wife, Jeannete Petry, whom he married August 31, 1950. They had three children, Carroll Nelson, Lanette Sheree and Jeanne Rene’.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jeanette and his three children, Carroll, Lanette and Jeanne along with his grandchildren Gentry, Veronica, Jeremy and Nicole, and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his 2 sisters Alice Fern and Betty May.
He is loved by many people whose lives he touched profoundly. We look forward to the glorious day when we see Art again with our Savior in the kingdom of heaven.
