Armando Santillan, Jr. was born September 24, 1983, to Armando Santillan, Sr. and Martha Angelica Olvera in Brownsville, TX. He was the first grandchild to both sets of grandparents who loved him with all their heart. As a baby, Armando was dedicated to the Lord in his church, Templo El Salvador in San Benito, Texas, where he grew up hearing the Word of God and participating in all church related events, including Royal Rangers Club. Armando was so loving, kindhearted, and thoughtful of others. He was always lightening up the room with jokes and laughter and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Armando was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Baldemar Dominguez Sr., and Isidro Santillan. He is survived by his father, Armando Santillan, Sr.; mother, Martha Angelica Olvera married to Ivan Olvera; brother, Cristian Ivan Santillan married to Rebeca Santillan; sister, Rebekah Aracely Novoa married to Alex Novoa; one niece, Lexi Novoa, one nephew, Xander Novoa; maternal grandmother, Martha Dominguez; paternal grandmother, Josefina Santillan; uncle, Baldemar Dominguez, Jr.; aunts, Noemi Galindo and Rosalba Dominguez; and numerous people who loved him dearly and he called “tia, tio, primo, prima”. Armando leaves behind his three beautiful children, Levi Santillan, Armando Allen Santillan, and little T’Nee Allen. We will miss him dearly, and we’re sure that one day we will rejoice with him again with our Lord Savior.
