Annis L. Allison

Annis Lenora Allison (Fincher) 82, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 25, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, with Joe Peebles officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 2 - 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 24, at the funeral home. 
Annis was born October 19, 1941, to Lewis and Hattie Rose Fincher in Groesbeck, TX. She was a member of the American Business Women's Association and started her career at Texas National Bank and retired after 28 years at Central National Bank. She was well-known and involved in her community as a board member of Southern Little League as well as worshipped and raised her children at Kendrick Lane Baptist Church. She enjoyed sweets and spending time with her family.
Annis was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Hattie Rose Fincher; husband, James Allison; brother, David Fincher; sister, Betty Stockton; daughters, Donna Allison and Denise Castro; son-in-law, Carlos Castro; and grandsons, James Tunmire and Jerry Tunmire.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Tunmire (Wayne), Brenda Resendez (Ike), and Davilynn Thomas. She leaves behind sisters-in-law, Montea Stewart and Louise Fincher; and grandchildren, Deborah Avants (Jeremy), Jessica Higgins (Jason), Fred Crabtree (JaeAyne), Nikki Moreno, Wesley Daniels, Rainy Moreno (Joe), Anna Skains (Jim), Carla Becherer (Nick), Brandy Fuentes, Victoria Sanchez (Luis), Felecia Resendez, Allison Robinson (Brandon), Angela Thomas, Alexandria Thomas, and many more beloved bonus grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grand-children, nieces and nephews.
