Annie Kunkel

Annie Ruth Kunkel passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 5, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors 5 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 4, at the funeral home.
Annie was born May 28, 1932, in Bellmead, TX, to Halbert and Annie Mae Niswanger. She married William Ray Kunkel on November 26, 1949, in Waco, TX. Annie was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Niswanger of Ft. Worth, TX.
Annie leaves behind her husband, Bill; three sons, Mike and wife Jennie of Waco, TX; Gary and wife Alice of Bruceville, TX; and Dean of Mt. Calm, TX; two grandchildren, Lauren Hamons and husband Danny of Moody, TX; and Rebecca Herring and husband Matt of Saginaw, TX; five great-grandchildren, Kylah, Chloe, Cora Lee, Kendall, and Dillon.
