Anna Mae Hanks 76, of Robinson, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. A graveside service will be 2 pm Wednesday, December 4, at Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive visitors before services from 11 am-12 pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr. Anna was born April 3, 1937 in Trafford Alabama to Euell and Daisy Pike.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years, Jim Hanks; son, Sidney Hanks; sister, Evelyn Robbins; brother, George Pike.
She is survived by her children, Juanita Brown and husband Skipper of Ft. Worth, Jimmie Hanks Jr. and wife Hilma of Houston, Linda Mings and husband Nathan of Waco, and Kay Collier and husband Craig of Brownwood; grandchildren, Oscar Brown and wife Caitie, Christina Brown and fiancé Cody Thompson, Richard Hanks, Kara Hanks, Ruth Hanks, Andrew Randall and fiancé Kristina Brown, Amber Blackmon and husband Austin, Steven Proctor, Cydney Collier and Erin Collier; great-grandchildren, Steven Hanks, Matthew Randall, Kagen Faye Blackmon, Kasch Blackmon, and Oscar “Cinco” Brown V; siblings, Gracie L. Stough and husband Eddie of Robinson, W.B. Pike and Companion Sue of Birmingham AL, J.T. Pike and wife Donna of Birmingham AL., and Walter Pike and wife Elosie of Corpus Christi.
