Anna Chappell

Anna Pearl (Menefee) Chappell, 95, of Robinson, TX, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, at First Baptist Church Robinson, 104 E Stegall Dr, Robinson, TX, with Pastor Steve Thomas officiating. A visitation one hour prior to the service, at 1:00 p.m., at the church. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery.
Anna was born April 20, 1928, in Travis, TX, to Richard and Margaret Pauline (Blakely) Menefee. She married Marvin Chappell on August 17, 1946. Anna retired from Word, Inc. after 20 years. She then went on to work part-time at Syzygy and Pecan Grove Funeral Home. She was a member at First Baptist Church of Robinson since 1957 and held several positions there. When she was younger, she enjoyed crocheting, and playing 42 with Marvin and their friends. After her mother passed away, Anna continued the tradition of Sunday dinners with her family. She lived at Fountainview Apartments in Robinson for a while where she made many friends.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin E. Chappell; and her sons-in-law, Larry Dieterich and Tim Wright.
She is survived by her children, Paula Dieterich and Brenda Wright; grandchildren, Brandon Dieterich and wife Samantha, Jeremy Dieterich and wife Marci, Katie Gamiz and husband Manuel, and Lucas Wright and wife Baley; her great-grandchildren, Charley Dieterich, Andy Dieterich, Jonathan Dieterich, Kaylee Dieterich, and Isabella Gamiz; niece, Bobbie Baldree; along with many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Dieterich, Jeremy Dieterich, Lucas Wright, Manuel Gamiz, Roy Farmer, and Mike Lowry.
The family would like to thank the staff of Stoney Brook of Hewitt Memory Care and Accent Hospice for their loving care of their mother.
