Angelina was born Maria de los Angeles in Cuidad Victoria, Tamulipas, Mexico, to Maria de Jesus Hernandez and Manuel Lumbreras Hernandez, on January 16, 1942. After coming to the United States, she later changed her name legally to Angelina Hernandez. She was a lifelong member of the Latin American U.M.C., which was her family church built by her grandfather Eugenio Hernandez. She was very involved in the activities and business of the church her entire life. It was her strong faith and belief in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit that kept her drive alive to keep her church moving forward for God’s Kingdom.
Angelina will be remembered not only for her devotion to the church but also as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend. She loved giving of herself in all that she did. Her love for her family was shown in her constant prayers for everyone. Even in her last days she continued to worry more for her family than herself. Yes, she will be greatly missed, as well as her famous “MENUDO!”

Jimenez; her mother Maria de Jesus Hernandez; brothers, Matthew Hernandez, and wife Josie, and Ruben Hernandez; sisters, Rachel Hernandez Padilla, and Susie Hernandez Bass and husband Nelson; and her Goddaughter and niece, Linette Hagar.
She is survived by her three sons, Pastor Rumaldo R. Jimenez and wife RoseMary, Miguel H. Jimenez and wife Rachel, and Frank H. Jimenez and wife Teresa, all of Waco. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-great-grandchildren; along with two adopted grandsons, Alex Torres and Joshua Shepley; three Goddaughters; and her beloved dog, Dixie. Her love went out to each with all her heart.

She will be missed, but as a family, we know that in her life God was always with her. Now, she sits in His Presence. Amen
