Angela Lynn Davis

Angela Lynn Davis, 58, of Waco, TX, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024, at Hewitt Nursing and Rehabilitation facility after losing her battle with pancreatic cancer. 

Angela was born June 19, 1965, to Johnny Davis in San Diego, CA, while he was serving in the United States Navy. She moved to Waco, TX, at the age of 5, to be reunited with her dad and to be adopted by his wife Lillian Davis after he returned home from Vietnam. Angela was a graduate of Robinson High School where she was on the Rockettes Drill Team.  She then attended TSTC where she graduated from the Dental Assistant program. Angela was a member of New Hope Church in Riesel. She lived for her children and her grandchildren.

Angela is survived by her mother, Lillian Davis; brother, John Davis; son, Chris and wife Ashley of Burleson, TX;  daughter, Courtney and husband Chad of Robinson, TX; son, Cody of McGregor, TX; daughter, Carey and spouse, Colby of Chilton, TX; grandchildren, Kaelyn, Faith, Hope, Zaidon, Hagen, Marleigh, Piper, Oakland, and Avery; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daddy, Johnny Davis; grandparents, L.T. and Cleo Davis; uncle, Bubba Davis; aunt, Judy Pattillo, uncle, James Davis and cousin, Jeff Davis.

Services will be as follows: Visitation is Friday, May 24, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Pecan Grove Funeral Home; funeral service will be 10am, May 25, at the funeral home. There will be a celebration of life at New Hope Baptist Church, 783 W Lake Creek Rd, Riesel, TX, following the funeral service.
