Andrew Myers

Andrew Jackson Myers, Jr. of Waco, Texas passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. Memorial service will be at 10 AM Thursday, October 6, 2016, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco, TX.
Andrew was born November 29, 1938 in Hearne, Texas to Jack and Winnie Myers. He grew up in Dublin, Texas and Mesa, Arizona. He was a member of the National Guard. Andrew met Linda and six weeks later they were married. This 48 year marriage gave them a daughter, Lynn, of Waco and a son Cody and wife Tammy, of Lorena. In turn their children gave them five grandchildren and one great grandson; Drew, Courtney and Austin Myers of Lorena, Amber Hamblen and husband Oliver of Arkansas, Kristin of Waco, and Dominic of Alabama. He worked for Artco Bell for over 20 years delivering school furniture across the United States. He also worked for Lockjoint in Temple, Texas, Do It Best in Waco, Texas and for the last 12 years, he worked at Penske in Waco.
He is survived by his brother, Bill and wife Sarah of Florida, and sister Delores of Arizona. He will be missed by all who loved him.
