Amy Rae Ferguson went to be with her loving heavenly Father Sunday, January 9th, 2022. She was a fun spirit and social butterfly who loved wrestling with her boys, laughing with her friends, and unleashing her nerf gun on innocent passersby at work and at home. Amy was born May 12, 1977, in Davenport, Iowa and was a world traveler since infancy. She was an Army brat, moving across the globe with her family, from Europe to Germany and back to the states. Amy was an adventurer at heart and loved to travel. She attended Lampasas High School where she was a Junior Pioneer, in the LTP Spirit Club, and a runner-up for Homecoming Queen her senior year. On her 16th birthday she got her first job, giving her all in every job she had since then. Amy was fun-loving and funny. She had an incredibly quick wit, a fierce determination, and was loved by all who knew her.
Amy is survived by her sons, Colton Julian, and Jaxson Ferguson; her mother, Teresa Logsdon; her father, Matthew Bailey and his wife Kristy; her older brother Bobby, his wife Selena and their children Rhys and Honor Bailey; her paternal grandmother Mary Bailey of Davenport, IA and maternal grandmother, Sandra Ross of North Liberty, IA.
Amy was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Kenneth Ross and her paternal grandfather Joseph Bailey.
As per her request she will be cremated. There will be a memorial service for her at Meadowbrook Baptist Church, 1207 N Old Robinson Rd, Waco, TX, where she was baptized in 2008, on Wednesday, January 19, at 10:00 a.m., with Dr. Cary Killough officiating.
