Amor Esperanza Zuniga

Amor Esperanza Zuniga, age 25, of Waco passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Funeral services will be 10am Thursday, November 14 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Reverend Pilar Garcia officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Rosemound Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 6 to 8:00pm Wednesday, November 13 at the funeral home.

Amor was born October 22, 1999 to Adbon Zuniga and Shontā Aguilar in Waco, Texas. She grew up in the Waco area attending University High School. Amor loved spending time with her family and friends, dressing up and taking selfies, and watching her favorite TV shows. She enjoyed drawing and cutting hair. She loved animals, especially turtles and really liked spiders. Amor was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all those lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her father, Abdon Vaquera Zuniga; grandmother, Janie Herrera; grandparents, Samuel and Lupe Zuniga.

Amor is survived by her mother, Shontā Aguilar; brother, John Johnson; sister, Alexis Cantu and husband Eric; brother, Angelo Zuniga. She is also survived by her nephew, nieces, uncles, aunts and numerous cousins. Amor also leaves a host of friends.

Pall bearers will be John Johnson, Isaac Cervantez, D.Marcuz Bruce, Jospeh Castro, Ashtyn Bledsoe, and Hentry Dawson II. Honorary bearers will be Devin Sanders, Iziaha Navarro, Marty Dominguez, and Troy Ramirez.
