Alvin Henderson

Alvin Nealon Henderson 80, of Robinson, passed away, Saturday, June 21, 2014. Services will be 10 am, Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr. with Pastor Gerry Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. The family will receive visitors, Tuesday, June 24, from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
Alvin Nealon Henderson was born in Waco, Texas on November 5, 1933 to the late Robert and Della Jo Henderson. He married the late Martha Nell Lanier Henderson on November 15, 1955. Mr. Henderson served in the U. S. Army from 1955 to 1960. He worked in automotive parts sales for many years serving customers in a large portion of the Central Texas area.
Mr. Henderson is survived by his wife Elizabeth Ann Henderson to whom he was married on June 2, 2001. He is survived also by his son Danny Joe Henderson and wife Cathy of Baytown, Texas. Daughter Diana Henderson Wojdula and husband Keith of Springville, Alabama and two sisters Mrs. Louise Ashby and Ms. Bessie Sharpless both of Robinson. He leaves behind 5 beloved grandchildren Mrs. Becki Hogg and husband Keith of Lott, Mrs. Jennifer Vera and husband Vivi of Lorena, Mrs. Ashley Jo Greaney and husband Joe of Riesel, Mr. Robert Christopher Wojdula and wife Kayla of Springville, Alabama and Ms. Lori Wojdula of Springville, Alabama. 6 precious great grandchildren Caitlin Hogg, Jonathan Vera, Zachary Vera, Clayton Greany, Morgan Vera, and Joshua Rawlinson,
Pallbearers are Kenneth Buckner, Delbert Lanier, Thelbert Lanier, Chris Wojdula, Dale Glaser, and James Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be, Jonathan Vera and William McGinnis.
