Alma Proe, 79, of Robinson, passed away, Monday, July 17, 2017, at a local hospice facility. A graveside service will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 21, 2017, at Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive visitors, Thursday, July 20, from 6-8 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr.
Alma was born, February 15, 1938, Harlingen, Texas, the daughter of the late Frank Walker and Helen Grace (Williams) Cherrington. In 1958, she was a graduate of Mountain Grove High School. She married the love of her life, Richard Lee Proe, September 18, 1958, at First Baptist Church in Mountain Grove, Missouri. During her life, she loved taking care of her family, her home and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Proe; sons, Frank Lee Proe and wife, Melony and Charles Walker Proe; sister, Katherine Rebmann and husband, Harald; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
