Albert Eugene Sexton, 74, of Lorena, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 in Temple. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, May 3, 2019 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Killeen, Texas.
Albert was born December 18, 1944 to George Sexton and Virginia Wagner in Mansfield, Ohio. He married Marilyn Jean Hickman on May 8, 1968 in Waco. Albert served his country in the US Army for nine years. When he was honorably discharged he was a Sergeant and spent time in the Vietnam War. Albert worked at CertainTeed for many years as a supervisor.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandmother, Annalee Wagner.
Albert is survived by his wife, Marilyn Sexton of Lorena; son, Allen Sexton and wife Machalle of Stephenville; son, Michael Sexton and Brandy Stansberry of Bruceville; grandchildren, Heather Sexton of Lorena, Sierra Atwater of Stephenville, Kayla Hayes and husband Randall of Robinson, Alison Sexton of Stephenville, Michael Sexton II and Kylie Sexton both of Bruceville; great-grandchildren, Lexie Atwater of Stephenville, Rylan Hayes of Robinson; sisters, Linda Creel and Carol Boarts both of Ohio; brother, Bob Hauck of Ohio; along with a large extended family.
